Glenn D. Bolduc
President and Chief Executive Officer
Glenn D. Bolduc became President and CEO at Implant Sciences in January 2009 after joining the company as
Chief Financial Officer in July 2008. Mr. Bolduc has more than 25 years of executive and financial leadership
experience at public and private technology and services companies. This experience includes Co-Founder,
President, and CEO at Vialog Corporation, a consolidator within the teleconferencing service bureau industry.
Mr. Bolduc also served as a Principal of Radius Advisors, a privately held advisory services firm, where he
helped high tech and services-oriented businesses develop operational business plans. Previously, he served
as CFO at Connected Corporation, a leading software developer of backup software for PCs and laptops, which
was sold to Iron Mountain, and as Chief Financial Officer at MultiLink, Inc., Concord Data Systems, Inc. a
nd Kronos, Inc. Mr. Bolduc began his career with Price Waterhouse & Company after graduating with a BS
in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Bill McGann
Chief Operating Officer
Dr. McGann is one of the original developers of commercial ion mobility spectrometry technology
for explosives trace detection (ETD). He has authored over 70 research proposals to the U.S. Government,
20-plus scientific publications, and over 25 patents in the areas of nuclear, chemical and biological
detection technologies. He played a key role in creating an industry around ETD science and technology
at Ion Track Instruments, which was acquired by General Electric. After the acquisition, Dr. McGann served
as Vice-President, R&D at GE Ion Track and went on to become Chief Technology Officer of GE Security.
Immediately prior to joining Implant Sciences, he was VP Engineering for Global Fire Products
and United Technologies.
Michael Turmelle
Director
Michael Turmelle was confirmed as a director of the Company in December 2005. He is currently
Chief Financial Officer of Premium Power Corporation, a venture capital backed large format electrical
energy storage company. Prior to Premium Power, Mr. Turmelle held several management positions with
SatCon Technology Corporation, including a director, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer,
Chief Operating Officer and President of SatCon Power Systems. Prior to SatCon he worked for HADCO
Corporation in various financial and operating assignments. Mr. Turmelle graduated from the General Electric
Financial Management Training program (FMP) in 1984. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Amherst College.
Mr. Turmelle serves as the Chairman of Implant Sciences’ Compensation Committee and is a member of
both the Company’s Audit and Nominating Committees.
Robert Liscouski
Director
Mr. Liscouski is the CEO of Content Analyst, a software company that automates the analysis and
categorization of large volumes unstructured text and data. He served as Assistant Secretary of
Infrastructure Protection for the Department of Homeland Security, appointed by then Secretary Tom Ridge.
There, he coordinated authority over the protection of all sectors of the nation's critical infrastructure,
including agriculture, food, water, public health, transportation, and hazardous materials. Previously, he was
the Director of Information Assurance for The Coca-Cola Company.
Howard Safir
Director
Mr. Safir is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Safir/Rosetti, a premier security consulting company. In 1996,
he was appointed the 39th Police Commissioner of the City of New York by Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, after serving
as New York City’s 29th Fire Commissioner for the prior two years. Previously, he was the Assistant Director
of the Drug Enforcement Agency and also served as Chief of the Witness Security Division, U.S. Marshals Service.
Mr. Safir is a member of the Board of Trustees of Hofstra University and a director of the foundation of the
International Association of Chiefs of Police.
Jack Keating
Director
Jack Keating is the Vice president of Global Customer Fulfillment for the Timberland Company where he has worked for 17 years.
Timberland is a premium global brand with sales in excess of 1.2 Billion in 2008. As Vice President of Global Customer
Fulfillment, Jack is responsible for all Transportation, Distribution, Customs, and Order management. In addition, Jack
oversees North American Customer Service and Apparel Sourcing operations. He has thirty years of progressive
experience in the Shipping and Transportation Industry. He holds a B.A. from Bridgewater State College and an M.B.A.
from Suffolk University. Jack is a respected expert in the retail Distribution and Transportation world. He has
spoken many times on topics ranging from automation to warehouse management. He was the keynote speaker
at Manhattan Associates annual Momentum Conference held in Atlanta.
